Perth Crossbody Bag PDF Pattern for raw-edge materials

The Perth Crossbody is designed with both style and functionality in mind, making it a versatile accessory for various occasions. This 6" W x 8" H x 2" D purse boasts a compact yet spacious design that effortlessly combines fashion with practicality.

The exterior features two convenient slip pockets, one large and one small, providing quick access to items like a smartphone, keys, or other essentials. In addition to the exterior slip pockets, there is a thoughtfully designed flap pocket, which is not only stylish but also functional, offering extra storage space for small items like cards, receipts, or notes.

The interior of the purse is surprisingly roomy considering its compact size. Spacious enough to comfortably carry a bottle of water, your wallet and a few small accessories, along with a Kindle or any similarly sized e-reader in the back slip pocket, it is perfect for those who love to carry their favorite books or digital devices on the go. The pattern includes a basic drop-in lining, but easily allows you to add interior slip or zipper pockets, credit card slots, etc.

All pattern pieces are rectangular and can be cut easily with a ruler and rotary cutter, but the pattern pieces have been included for those who prefer to print them out. A quick pattern to cut and to sew with an easy drop-in lining, the Perth Crossbody will be a wonderful addition to your bag pattern collection.

Materials needed:

• 1/4 yard raw-edge materials such as cork, vinyl, faux leather, PLUS 49"-55" of crossbody strap material or webbing
• fabric or WPC/WRC for the lining
• 2 swivel hooks, 2 D-rings and one strap slider
• 1 magnetic or other style lock
• Decovil light or similar stabilizer
• SF101 for lining material if needed
• rivets if desired
• WPC, double-fold binding tape or stretch binding tape if you choose to bind the edges instead of using the drop-in lining
